Services: reading old and current information

Independent guide · Updated 2 October 2026

An archived service time tells you what was advertised then. Confirm the current timetable before making a journey.

What the archive says

The July 2015 services page described Sunday worship in the Church of Scotland tradition and included children’s participation arrangements. Later captures used different service times in their footers. This is a reminder to date a notice instead of carrying its practical details forward unchanged.

Check the current source

Dalmeny and Queensferry’s services and worship page is the appropriate starting point for present-day services. Check for seasonal changes, special services, the building used and any online provision. Do not assume a recording link in an old capture remains available.

A short visit checklist

  • Confirm the date, time and location.
  • Check access information with the parish if you need it.
  • Look for a recent notice affecting the usual arrangements.
  • Use the parish contact page for questions about a particular service.
