Dalmeny calendar: checking an event
This page explains how to read a calendar. It is not a live event listing.
The archived calendar address
The old site used a calendar section and individual monthly addresses. Those monthly pages belong to their stated years. An old link can still be useful for research, but should not be treated as a current programme.
Confirm an event before you plan around it
| Detail | What to verify |
|---|---|
| Date | The full day, month and year, plus any update. |
| Place | The actual venue, not only the parish name. |
| Participation | Booking, age group, accessibility and any charge. |
| Changes | The organiser’s latest cancellation or alteration notice. |
Begin with current parish news and events. Keep the organiser’s source link in your notes, so that you can check it again near the date.
For historical research
Use the archive capture to establish what a page displayed at that moment. Empty months do not prove that no community activities took place; they may simply reflect missing or incomplete web records.
Sources & scope
Newly written historical summary, published 2 October 2026. Archive dates describe the source captures. Check current arrangements with the parish.
